Lodge at Whale Pass
The Lodge at Whale Pass is located in the heart of the famed Inside Passage of Southeast Alaska. The Lodge, a 2 hour flight from Seattle, sits by the shore of a quiet bay off Whales Passage on the NE corner of Prince of Wales Island, the third largest island in the U.S. Its 990 mile coastline has numerous bays, coves, inlets and points waiting to be explored.

The captains are licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard and truly love being on the water. They take pride in revealing an unparalled Alaska to all on-board.
Salt Water Fishing
Guided Fishing: Prince of Wales Island offers Halibut, King Salmon, Silver Salmon and Rockfish. Guests fish from state-of-the-art 24' NorthRiver Seahawk cabin cruisers. The fleet is outfitted with the latest in marine electronics including VHS radio, radar, chartplotter and fish-finding sonar to help locate some of the most spectacular salmon and halibut fishing in Alaska. In addition to the Seahawks, there is an Almar walk-around Sounder, called "S.U.V." or Sports Utility Vessel.
Unguided Fishing: Guests may check out one of the skiffs and some tackle and venture out into the protected bay for abundant Silver Salmon fishing.
Fish Processing: Processing of your catch (Salmon & Halibut) is included in the trip packages. The fish are filleted, vacuum packed into custom portions, flash frozen, then packaged in an airline approved wax fish-box.
