Sitka is the only town in SE Alaska set directly on the Pacific Ocean. Sitka looks out over a vast bay dotted with heavily forested islands, one of which, Apple Island, is the exclusive home of Talon Lodge.

Fishing
Sitka, an angler’s paradise, has some of the most spectacular salmon fishing in Alaska.
Saltwater: King, Coho and Pink Salmon, Halibut, Ling cod, Yellow eye Snapper. Freshwater: Steelhead, Sockeye and Coho.
Boats
The largest boat at Talon Lodge is the 39' Sea Ray Sport Fishing Sedan. The foundation of the fleet is the 32' customized Sea Sport Catamarans. All boats are equipped with the most sophisticated GPS and electronic equipment to ensure that anglers are fishing the hottest spots in Sitka Sound.
Guides & Staff
Experienced captains, chefs, massage therapists and hospitality service experts round out a service staff that is unmatched in Alaska. All of the Lodge’s captains have fished in Sitka for years and are recognized as some of the best fishermen in Sitka's charter industry. Each captain is USCG licensed, and trained in First-Aid.
