Providing a memorable Alaskan fishing trip that exceeds your greatest expectations has always been our goal at El Capitan Lodge. We believe this starts the first time you contact us and should continue until your safe return home. We have been accommodating anglers for over 20 years in Alaska and have many corporate, family, group, and individual references available. We enjoy a return guest rate of 85% - 96% yearly.

There are two elements at El Capitan Lodge that we cannot, nor will we ever be able to control - Alaska's weather and the fishing. However, we can make educated guesses based on past years and we do so with great accuracy. The elements we do control - food service, room service, condition of our buildings and equipment, helpfulness of the crew, guest entertainment, fish processing, optional activities during your trip - we strive to make the best they can be.

RATES

Rates are per person, double occupancy; based on 4 guests per boat. Guest bookings in groups with an uneven number of anglers are subject to an additional per day fee for the remaining empty space: $350/per day.

Package Price Includes:

RT transportation from Ketchikan to El Capitan Lodge via seaplane, Deluxe Lodge Accommodations, Fully Guided Saltwater Fishing, Gourmet Cuisine, Saltwater fishing gear, tackle, bait, Alaska Fishing license/King Salmon tag, Use of rain gear & boots, Processing, vacuum packaging, boxing of fish for travel home as baggage, Complimentary House wine with Dinner.

Not included:

RT Airfare from home city to Ketchikan; Hotel accommodations in Ketchikan; Alcholic beverages purchased in the King Fisher Lounge; Personal amenities/toiletries/souvenir purchases; Gratuities.

RESERVATIONS/PAYMENT POLICY

Reservation requests will be held for 10 days pending a $900 non-refundable deposit per person. Due to our short season and high demand for space, your reservation may be released for further bookings if deposits are not received. A payment of $500 pp is due January 15, with a final payment due by April 1st. Full payment is required for reservations made after April 1st. El Capitan Lodge accepts checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.

El Capitan Lodge will not be responsible for loss of fishing time, lodgeing, food, transportation, baggage and fish box losses, flight delays and other incidents resulting from conditions beyond our control.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All deposits received are non-refundable. Cancellation insurance is highly recommended.

GRATUITIES

Gratuities are customary for the lodge crew and normally average 10% of your package price. However, tips are dependent on your satisfaction with the service provided and are at each individual's discretion. An amount you are comfortable with will be appreciated by the crew.

CLOTHING AND PERSONAL CARE

Bring comfortable clothing for temperatures ranging from 50° to 75°F. Use of rain gear and rubber boots are included in our package price. Personal items to consider bringing that are not available at the lodge are: camera and film, sunglasses, any tobacco products, small day bag for on the boat.
